Gary Lee McMillen, 75, of Manchester left us on Sunday Dec. 17, 2017 to be with the Lord.
He was born to Charles and Lois (Moore) McMillen on Jan. 6, 1942 in White Hall.
He is survived by 5 children: Regina (David) Floyd of Versailles, Steven (Connie) Jennings of White Hall, Lisa Jennings Chapman of Arkansas, Angie Baker of Arkansas and Angel Hambrick of Arkansas. He had 7 grandchildren: Justin (Jessica) Prather of Versailles, David (Jesika) Floyd of Chapin, Jacob Floyd of Beardstown, Adam Chapman, Travis Chapman, Haley Hambrick and Austin Hambrick all of Arkansas. There are 4 great-grandchildren: Damien Edwards, Brett Prather of Versailles, Tristin Floyd of Fowler and Luna Floyd of Chapin. Also, there is one living brother: Harold (Jane) McMillen and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wives: Linda McMillen and Connie Hardwick McMillen, several sisters, a very special brother-in-law: Danny McMillen. Gary was a member of the Walkerville Baptist Church and worked in many garages as a tire man. Most notably Neal Tire and Battery. He loved being with his family most of all.
Visitation will be on Thursday Dec. 21, 2017 from 1-3 p.m. at the Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall. Funeral services will follow visitation at the funeral home with burial in Pine Tree Cemetery near Patterson. A gathering will be held at the home of Connie and Steve Jennings at 623 Tunison in White Hall immediately after the burial. Memorials are to a charity of one’s choice.
