Obituary of Mae Lightle
Mae Pearl Lightle, 96 of Griggsville passed away early Monday morning May 8, 2017 at Eastside Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pittsfield.
Mae was born September 12, 1920 in Maysville the daughter of the late Roy Owen and Grace Pearl Clough.
She married Clay W. Lightle March 9, 1947 in Pittsfield.
Mae, a homemaker was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting, fishing, sewing, cooking and playing the Hawaiian steel guitar. She was an outdoor person, spending many hours mowing and tending her beautiful flowers and relaxing by her goldfish pond.
Mae is survived by her children Frank (Barb) Lightle and Nola (Ray) Brown both of Griggsville. Two grandchildren Tyrell (Sami) Lightle of Griggsville and Alyssa (Chris) Heightman of Pittsfield, two great grandchildren Eli Lightle and Daisy Heightman and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death was her parents and her husband Clay April 12, 1992, two brothers and sisters in laws, Alfred and Evelyn Clough and Harry and Betty Clough infant sister Patricia Maxine Clough and niece Sherry Biddle and nephew Brian Biddle.
Private family services will be held at the Airsman-Hires Funeral Chapel in Griggsville. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery.
