Obituary of Linda Key
Linda Kay Key “Dodders” 64, of Roodhouse passed away at 4:15 pm on Friday October 6, 2017 at the home of her son in Carlinville surrounded by her family full of love. She was born October 12, 1952 in Alton, the daughter of Harold “Beanie” and Betty (Owens) Crocker. She married Rocky Key November 20, 1976 in White Hall and he survives.
She is survived by two daughters, Kim (Tony) Russo of McClean, VA, Brittany Key of Alexandria, VA, one son, Aaron (Jennifer) Key of Carlinville, six grandchildren, Gabrielle, Marty, Kadin, Kylee, Austin and Samantha, two great grandchildren, Stacey and Samuel, one sister, Judy Thompson of Pittsburg, a brother, Jeffrey (Angie) Crocker of Johnson City, and her favorite little dog, Ottis. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Linda was a devout Christian that loved Jesus her savior and God her creator. She loved being surrounded by her family and friends. She was happiest when her family was around and laughing with her. Linda spent 18 years as a teacher at North Greene School District making an incredible impact on children with special needs. She was full of spunk and taught all of us how to be strong and love unconditionally.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall with burial to follow in White Hall Cemetery.
