Obituary of Michael Kline
Michael A. “Mike” Kline, 62, of Jacksonville passed away Wednesday November 15, 2017 in Jacksonville.
He was born June 8, 1955 in Jacksonville the son of the late Charles and Loris Holcomb Kline.
Mike was a graduate of JHS and worked at Capital Records. Mike also worked for many years as Taxidermist in the area, he owned and operated Klines Bait shop in Jacksonville, a floral shop in Winchester, and preached the word of God at Bloomfield Baptist Church.
Mike loved the outdoors, especially fishing and was a member of the Bass Club at Lake Jacksonville. He was member of Life Church in Jacksonville and a former member of Jacksonville Assembly of God.
Surviving is his daughter Rachel Fanning of San Marcos, TX and his son Bradley (Heather) Woods of Collinsville, 4 grandchildren Desere Kline, Kristine Haughey, Mason Woods and Gavin Woods, brother Buck (Marsha) Kline of Alsey, sisters Patty (Tim) Russell of Indianapolis, Marian Roller of Palmyra and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday November 18, 2017 at the Coonrod Funeral Home in Winchester. Burial will be in Bowers Cemetery near Alsey. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 until the time of the service. Memorials can be made to his family.
