Obituary of Mae Pilkington

Mae Louise Pilkington, age 90 of White Hall died Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at her residence with her children by her side. She was born July 27, 1927 in White Hall, the daughter of William and Cecile Emery Nash. She married Richard Pilkington October 1946 and then later divorced.

Surviving is two daughters, Linda Phillips of White Hall, Gloria (Richard) Phipps of Rosewood Heights, a son, John (Pamela) Pilkington of Mascoutah, five grandchildren, Anne Amici, Brian, Patrick(Rochelle), and Kevin Phipps, Michelle(Billy)Murray, eight great grandchildren, Alessia and Megan Amici, Zach, Thomas, Robyn, and Wyatt Phipps, Tanner Tucker, and Mason Murray, two step great grandchildren Madylan and Dylan Murray and a sister in  law, Nora Nash. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Maurice and Shirley Nash

Mae was a member of the White Hall First Baptist Church and White Hall V.F.W. Ladies Auxillary. She loved growing and caring for her flowers. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed her bowling team and watching wrestling.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall with burial to follow in White Hall Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Greene County Health Department Respite Care. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com
