Obituary of Lynn Turner

 

 

    Lynn Jason Turner, 40, of Eldred died on Tuesday Sept. 19, 2017 at Boyd Memorial Hospital in Carrollton following a car accident.

      Born in Jerseyville on Oct. 21, 1976, he was the son of Lynn Clayton Turner of Houston Texas and Fred and Georgia (Lasater) Geisler of Eldred.

       Surviving besides his parents and step-father are:  his loving companion Randa Davidson, his son Freddy Clayton Turner, a daughter Molly Turner of Carrollton, and a daughter Brianna Kuebrich of Carrollton,  2 grandchildren: Azylynn Marie Kuebrich and Jack William Joseph Knazavich, 3 brothers: Marty (fiancée Emalie Thornton) Turner of Jerseyville, Tommy (wife Wendy) Turner of Colorado Springs, CO, Joe Turner of Houston, TX, sisters Hope (Thomas) Lawrence of Houston, TX, Hannah Turner of Houston, TX and a half-sister: Rachael Bannister of Jerseyville and many cousins and friends.    He was preceded in death by his half-brother: Freddy Geisler.

     Jason had recently started his own tree service after having worked in tree service in the City of Alton.   He was a graduate of Carrollton High School.   He loved his family, hanging with friends and enjoying life.   He was a former MMA fighter.

      Visitation will be from 9-11 A.M. on Saturday Sept. 23, 2017 at the Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Carrollton.  Following visitation funeral services will be held that day at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville.   Donations may be made to a fund for his son Freddy.  Condolences may be left online at:  www.airsman-hires.com.
