Obituary of Quintin Newton

            Quintin Robert “Fig” Newton, age 24 of Janesville, Wisconsin and formerly of Hillview died Monday, January 22, 2018 in Madison, Wisconsin. He was born July 2, 1993 in Jacksonville, the son of Robert W. Newton and ZoAnn Brown. He married Nicole Wirth October 20, 2017 in Wisconsin and she survives.

            Also surviving is his father, Robert (Cora) Newton of Hillview and his mother, ZoAnn Brown of Iowa, four sisters, Bethany of Frisco, TX, Savannah of Joplin, MO,  Zelexis of Arizona, and Gabriella of Hillview,  seven brothers, Christopher (Sonya) of Murfreesboro, TN, Wyatt of Hillview, Kerry of Alabama, Jacob (Daisy) of Indiana, Matthew of White Hall, Joshua and Ryan both of Hillview, An extraordinary set of paternal grandparents who he adored, Kenny and Sally Newton of Hillview, and  several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Airelle, maternal grandparents, Atto and Betty Brown, and paternal great grandparents, Richard and Doris Brewer.

Quintin graduated from North Greene High School in 2011 where he was very active and past president of the FFA. You could find him many times volunteering at local community events. He graduated from Jacksonville Commercial Dive Academy and became an underwater welder/diver. Quintin was very well known and liked by all that knew him. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held 12: 00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Calvary Baptist Church in White Hall. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the church. A private burial will be at a later date. Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall is in charge of arrangements. Memorials donations may be made to the North Greene FFA.
