Obituary of William Pinkerton
William Richard (Dick) Pinkerton, age 70 of White Hall, passed away peacefully Friday, July 27, 2018 at his residence. He was born June 3, 1948 in White Hall, the son of Glenn and Lillian Pinkerton of Belltown, and they preceded him in death as well as two brothers, Jerry Lee, and Glenn Jr.
Dick married Betty (Karen) Booth July 9, 1966 and she survives. Also surviving are three sons, Rick of Jacksonville, Ritch (wife Jenny) of Carrollton, and Dean (wife Pam) of Eldred. There are five grandchildren, Kaitlin Boner (husband Jeff), Meagan, Jessica Marable (husband Kyler), Josh, and Beclyn. There are three great grandchildren, KynLee, Karsyn, and Kayden.
He is also survived by sisters, Judy Fulkerson of White Hall, and Charlice (Sam), and her husband Gary Summers of Winchester, and brothers, Bruce of Jerseyville, and Ned (wife Norma) Pinkerton of Carrollton, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Dick was a self employed carpenter for many years. He enjoyed searching for antiques, and most of all being with his family. He will be greatly missed by all.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Special Olympics at Jacksonville. Our greatest thanks go to our BJC Hospice Team. Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in White Hall is in charge of arrangements.
