Obituary of Jered Riechmann

 

    Jered A. Riechmann, 42, of St. Louis County, formerly of Carrollton, died Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at his residence. He was born September 6, 1975 in St. Louis, the son of Daryl and Judy Richter Riechmann of Carrollton. He married Sheri J. Kunz Riechmann and she survives.

    Jered is also survived by a brother, Ryan Riechmann (Pam Grady) of Carrollton; a sister, Stacy (Troy) Saulz of Carrollton; mother-in-law and father-in-law Norman and Betty Kunz of St. Louis County; two bother-in-laws, Norman (Dee) Kunz and Douglas (Laurie Rudden) Kunz both of St. Louis County; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by an infant brother, Tad Riechmann; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

    Jered was a member of the 1994 graduating class of Carrollton High School.  He had a successful high school athletic career in football, basketball and track.   He was a graduate of Illinois College (Class of 1998).   He went to work for A.G. Edwards (now Wells Fargo) after college and did post graduate work at St. Louis University.   Jered loved to trap shoot and watch sports.   He will be remembered for his kindness and politeness to others.

    A visitation will be held at Kutis South County in St. Louis, MO Chapel on Thursday, August 16, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A second visitation will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Carrollton. The funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Carrollton, with burial following at Carrollton City Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Carrollton Back the Track or Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Airsman-Hires Funeral Home is in charge of the services.
