Anna Mae is survived by two nieces who were raised in her home, Janet White of Jacksonville and Joyce (Jim) DeBoer of Chapin, two sisters, Barbara Fricke of Chapin and Betty (Jesse) Covey of Plano, Texas, and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles White, one sister, Ruth Six, and one infant brother, Gerald White.

Anna Mae graduated from Charles S. French Community High School in Chapin and Brown’s Business College in Jacksonville.  She was a secretary for the Jacksonville Production Credit Association for 40 years.  She was a faithful member of Chapin Christian Church where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years as well as serving in various offices, committees, and C.W.F.  She was a member of the Home Extension Cheerful Unit, American Legion Auxiliary, and a charter member of the Chapin Historical Society.  Anna Mae enjoyed flower gardening and feeding birds.  She treasured time spent with family and friends, especially family gatherings.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, at Williamson Funeral Home, with burial at Chapin Cemetery.  The family will meet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Chapin Christian Church general fund or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com.
